Drawings of Poot the dragon

I made a 3D mask to work from that fitted around my head, of a dragon's face. Then I used it for perspective photos to create Poot the dragon. Here is the original illustration and the edited one, along with the photo of my mask. Even though I love the bright colours of the second one, I prefer the duller colours of the original. It looks more suitable for a children's book. Below a friend of mine is wearing it; however when I wore it my hair looked like a ruff around Poot's neck, so I added that in the drawings.

I drew myself and my friend Bryony as hobbits! These are the originals <3 so cute!

I got bored and wanted to doodle and elephant....so I did ^_^ i love it - there's so much love in this picture. I call it

'An elephant never forgets'

Been a little obsessed with the Disney 'fairytale' look lately so been doodling random stuff :) started with a cat princess wearing 'Princess Anastasia's' dress then did my own Princess based on my friend - introducing Princess Katie! Love working with my new sharpies!

A giant dragonfly flew into our conservatory and the stupid thing got stuck in our fairy lights! I rescued him and he stayed still long enough for me to take a few photos, then I took him outside and he flew away. amazing creatures! Anyway, was sitting in my PJ's today and saw a blank canvas and thought 'havent painted in a while properly on one of those!' so i got to work and here we are!

Lately, with it being so hot I've been wishing I was a mermaid more and more - swimming around in the beautiful blue sea with no cares or responsibilities - so I decided to get creative, as I do, and came up with this feisty little mermaid - she's basically me as a young mermaid. Disney style inspired.
